From the inside
What it is like to be a Two
You walk into a room and read it: who is lonely, who needs a hand, who you could help. Giving feels natural. Your own needs feel far away, or a little embarrassing. You can be the person everyone leans on and still feel unseen.
Below the line
When the pattern runs you
Giving comes with strings you do not admit to, even to yourself. You feel hurt or resentful when help is not appreciated. You may flatter, hover or step in where you were not asked.
Above the line
When you see it and choose
You notice what you need and say it out loud. You give freely, without keeping score, and you let people give back. Your warmth becomes a gift instead of a strategy.
Nobody lives above the line. The work is noticing sooner when you have dropped below it.

The three Two subtypes
Which instinct leads changes how the type shows up. Two Twos can look very different. A countertype can look like another type entirely.
