Emma · your Enneagram companion
Know your pattern. Then live it differently.
Emma is an AI Enneagram companion from Big Self School. She finds your subtype, writes you a Book of You, and then helps you practice what you learned in the day you already have.
$49 once · a month of Emma included · no subscription
Morning. On Friday you said you wanted to ask for help before the week got away from you. How did that go?
I didn't. I said yes to two more things instead.
That's the pattern you named, showing up right on time. What did saying yes protect you from?
The problem
You took the test. You read about your type. You nodded the whole way through. Then Monday happened.
Knowing your type feels like a breakthrough. A week later you are having the same argument, saying the same yes you regret, and lying awake over the same thing.
Insight fades when nothing in your day asks you to use it. Nobody reminds you what you noticed. Nobody points out the pattern while it is running.
Self-knowledge should change how you live. That takes practice, in real moments, over time. Emma was built for exactly that.
What Emma does
From a subtype to a different Tuesday.
01 · Find your subtype
A read on your motivation, from more than one angle
A short adaptive questionnaire narrows things down. Then you talk with Emma, by voice or by typing, for up to about 30 minutes. She listens for why you do things, which is where your type actually lives.
- 27 subtypes, not just 9 types
- She checks look-alike types before she settles
- Her read is a hypothesis. You decide if it fits.

02 · Read about yourself
Your Book of You and your Growth Path
Two documents, around thirty pages together, written from your own words. They describe your pattern from the inside, what it protects, what it costs you, and the experiments that help you grow.
- Yours to keep as a PDF
- A plain-text copy you can give your own AI
- They update, with a dated note, when Emma learns something new about you
The Book of You · Section II
Where your attention goes first
You scan a room for what needs fixing before you notice what is already working. People experience that as care. You experience it as never quite being off duty.
In your words
"I don't relax until everyone else is settled."

03 · Practice, daily
A check-in that catches your pattern while it is running
Each day Emma asks one question, drawn from what she knows about you. Once a week she suggests one small experiment. When you come back after a gap, she opens with something specific instead of a blank box.
- No streaks, no scores, no guilt
- Check in as often as you like
- Talk anything through, any time

04 · See yourself change
Emma remembers, so you can notice the difference
Emma keeps a picture of you, not a chat log: your pattern, your goals, what is going on in your life. Once a month, when there is enough to say, she writes you a short read on what she has noticed. You can see and correct what she remembers.
- Old facts fade, and she asks before assuming
- Tell her to forget something and she will
- Memory is a switch you control
What Emma noticed
You caught yourself earlier this month than last. Twice you named the pattern before it finished running.
Based on your check-ins and conversations from the last 90 days. You can tell Emma if this misses.

“I literally just cried because Emma told me I could take a nap and then deal with the rest of the day.”
“I loved how Emma remembered and brought up things throughout the week. It made the experience feel like a continuing conversation.”
“Emma is much more relational than other AI tools I've used. The personalization makes a big difference!”
“I've wanted to start a journaling habit for years and it just never stuck but the interactive nature of Emma helped me talk about my day and proactively sort through all of the emotions associated with it.”
From people who have used Emma, including early testers.

Your guide
Built by a therapist and coach who wanted the work to last.
Shelley Prevost, EdD, has spent 22 years as a clinician and 16 as a coach, working with people, leaders and teams through the Enneagram's 27 subtypes. She kept watching the same thing happen. A client would have a real breakthrough in a session, and two weeks later life had swallowed it.
Emma is her answer: a companion who carries the work between sessions, built on how Big Self School actually coaches. She tells you what she sees. She keeps you pointed at the people in your life. She treats your type as a working idea you get to test.
Trust, built in
An AI you can actually trust with this.
What you tell Emma is personal. We wrote the rules down, in plain language.
Honest about what she is
Emma runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. Your conversations are not used to train their models. She never pretends to be a person.
How Emma uses AI PrivacyYours, and only yours
We never sell your data or use it for ads. Your coach and your boss cannot read your conversations. You can export or delete everything.
Privacy and trust SafetyClear about her limits
Emma is not therapy or a crisis service. If she is worried about you, she stops and points you to people who can help right now.
SafetyWhat changes
Less autopilot. More choice.
- You notice the pattern in the moment, not three days later
- Hard conversations happen sooner and go better
- You say no without a week of guilt
- The people close to you get more of the real you
Without a practice, insight tends to stay a nice idea. The same loops keep running, and the people around you keep paying for them.
Questions
Before you begin
What is Emma?
Emma is an AI Enneagram companion from Big Self School. She finds your Enneagram subtype, writes you two documents about it, and then helps you practice what you learned through daily check-ins, weekly experiments and conversation.
Do I need to know my type already?
No. Emma finds it with you. If you already know your subtype, you can tell her before she reads you. She will not see your answer while she forms her own read, and afterwards you can compare.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT about my type?
A general chatbot knows facts about the Enneagram. Emma knows you. She keeps a picture of you that grows over time, she works from Big Self School's coaching method, and she checks in with you instead of waiting to be asked.
What happens after my included month?
Your documents and your type stay yours. If you want to keep practicing with Emma, you can choose to continue with a membership. The included month never turns into a subscription on its own. See pricing.
Is Emma a therapist?
No. Emma is a tool for self-awareness and growth. She is not therapy, medical care or an emergency service. Read about safety.
